Ouachita Railroad

The Ouachita Railroad (OUCH) operates on 13 miles of rail located from El Dorado, AR to Catesville, AR. At the OUCH they transport chemicals and transloads commodities such as petroleum lubricants, petroleum oil, and lumber. The OUCH also has land and buildings for industrial prospects. They also provide certified rail services for their customers. At the OUCH, they interchange with the Union Pacific and El Dorado Wesson Railroad in El Dorado, AR.

Before Arkansas Shortline Railroad started operating at the OUCH, it was first owned and operated by the Chicago Rock Island and Pacific Railroad until its liquidation in 1982. Then it was operated by the South-Central Arkansas Railway for only a year until the East Camden and Highland Railway bought it and owned it until 1990 when Arkansas Shortline bought it.
